Just Showing Up

In February I traveled with my Dad to Tikal National Park in Guatemala. I had a good time in Tikal but it is very remote and there is not a whole lot to do there besides hiking through the lush green rain forest jungles, sitting on spectacular pyramids soaring above the tree-line, snacking on chocolate, checking out the lovely hand-made craft items, etc. I have such a rough life... Grins. But I had a lot of time to reflect and write down some thoughts that I will share in this and subsequent newsletters.

My Dad was very generous in paying for air fare and the hotel room so I felt very fortunate. Of course the real reason I was there was because GOD wanted me there to help with upgrading the frequencies of the energy vortices there.  Actually GOD just wanted me to got to Tikal and ask GOD to do ALL of the work. I just ask for help and watch GOD do the work. This is how I live and operate most of the time now. 

In many ways I have a magical life but a lot of this I attribute to the fact that I make myself available for Spirit. All I have to do really is just show up.  I think that this is how most of us are supposed to live really. When we are aligned with GOD things just flow and fall into place and the synchronicities happen and that is GOD's responsibility.  It does take a LOT of surrender and trust to live this way and that is where I feel most people stumble.

A large part of living from being rather than from doing is to just show up.  Try it out over the next month and see what happens. Let go and let GOD.

One of the things I really am very aware of now is how much anger there is the world or at least in the United States. Every time I leave the sanctuary of my home it feels like I experience anger every where I go. One of the reasons I try to hang out in nature as much as I can and walk a lot and lay on the beach is because Gaia is much more peaceful than humanity.

I used to feel that the anger I felt was coming from deep within me and I would clear and clear and clear but now I realize that most of the anger (with the exception of some well-justified road rage) originates from the people all around me. So now whenever I feel anger rising up within me I simply observe it and let it flow out again rather than claiming it and clearing it.

This has been a great lesson to me about empathy and taking on other people's stuff. Most healers are empathic and my personal experience has been that empathy tends to grow and expand over time rather than contracting. And each time my empathy expands I need to develop different ways to handle it. Anger is especially challenging, however,  because it is so inimical to healing. I cannot and do not work on others when I am feeling imbalanced so this is a big deal for me.

Heavy sigh whenever I wander outside my home I also see a lot of impatience as well but a lot of this is my own stuff.  So you have to be discerning as to which weird energy is yours and which is not.
